GARRY RINDFUSS IS A RECORDING ENGINEER AND AUDIO PRODUCER LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY.

Over the course of a varied career in professional audio, I have had the opportunity to work with many of the greats in the field of recording; from engineers and producers like Bob Clearmountain, Steve Lillywhite, and James Farber, to recording artists including Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, McCoy Tyner, and Queen.

I specialize in Film Post Production, Audio Archiving and Restoration, and have done Sound Design and Mixing for numerous features, short films, and documentaries. I have also worked in Music Production and Radio Production. I’ve done spoken word recordings, and recorded and edited interviews with Jimmy Webb, George Plimpton, Julie Andrews, Rick Moody, and many others.

I have also performed digital restoration to the soundtracks of such noteworthy films as Jean-Luc Godard’s Breathless, Jean-Pierre Melville’s Le Cercle Rouge, and Federico Fellini’s Amarcord.

My goal, (if one can call it that) is to continue to work with artists and projects of this caliber, and to continue to learn and grow, and develop my craft.

It has been my good fortune, in my career to date, to have frequently been involved in projects which allow me to utilize my knowledge of (and love for) film and music. My experience in these areas has proved essential, and has provided me with the language and skills to meet the needs of clients in a wide range of disparate arenas.
